REI CDR
Rei CDR born April 17, 2021.
Rei came to Kier Equestrian with his mother when we bought her from Lusitano stud Ribatejo Lusitanos. He is a buckskin golden stallion with the nicest temperament and proud representative of the breed. He will be presented for approval in 2025. Iasmine has been approved with 70 points and Rei’s father, Vitorino CSM (Imperio Ex Ie-Ie x Ripado), has competed in Grand Prix dressage and previously been Portuguese champion in Working Equitation. With strong bloodlines from Veiga and Andrade, we have high expectations for Rei both as a hopefully future breeding stallion and as a riding horse.
SINCERO KIER
Sincero Kier born may 12, 2022.
Sincero is the first Lusitano foal born at the stud farm. He is mild, friendly, affectionate, and exceptionally beautiful. He is Rei’s full brother, with a luscious buckskin coat and dark shadows. He will be presented for approval in 2026. His mother, Iasmine (Altivo x Malmequer), was pregnant with Sincero when she arrived at the stud farm. His father, grand prix stallion Vitorino CSM (Imperio Ex Ie-Ie x Ripado), was previously the Portuguese champion in working equitation.
IASMINE
Iasmine born April 23, 2013.
Mare at 1.61 meters in height and awarded 70 points. She is the mother of 3 offspring at Kier Equestrian (Rei CDR, Sincero Kier, and Tigra Kier). Her lineage (Altivo x Malmequer) draws on documented strong bloodlines from Veiga and Andrade. Iasmine was trained when she arrived at the stud farm and is being trained in dressage with us. She possesses 3 excellent strong gaits and with a mild and willing temperament, she is developing fantastically
MELODIA
Melodia born march 18, 2016
Melodia came to Kier Equestrian when she was 5 years old, directly from Portugal via Ribatejo Lusitanos. She was awarded 73 points in 2022 and measures 161 cm in height. Her grandfather, Riopele, is decorated with 5* merit as a breeding stallion and 4* as a recommended breeding stallion for performance. Riopele’s father, Hostil, is also decorated with 5* breeding merit. In the 5th generation, the legendary Veiga stallion Novilheiro can be found, who both went Grand Prix dressage and S-jumping. Melodia is developing excellently with us in both dressage and jumping, and we are excited to see her future offspring.
GAULESA
Gaulesa born march 20, 2011
To strengthen Kier Equestrian’s breeding program, we bought the broodmare Gaulesa with her filly Titania CDR in 2023. Gaulesa’s pure Alter Real lineage attests to documented strong bloodlines and high quality from Portugal. She was awarded 72.5 points in APSL and measures 1.65 meters in height. She is pregnant with the Grand Prix stallion Vitorino CSM from Ribatejo Lusitanos and is expecting a foal in late April 2024.
RUBIA CDR
Rubia CDR born july 5, 2021
Rubia came to Kier Equestrian when she was 1.5 years old from Ribatejo Lusitanos. The plan is for her to be awarded and ridden in dressage. She is after the legendary Alter Real stallion Rubi AR, which is considered one of the most successful dressage Lusitano stallions ever and is decorated with 5* from APSL. RubiAR has Batial AR as his father after He-Xila, who is again after Xaquiro, which is considered one of the most influential stallions within the Lusitano breed. Rubia CDR continues the beauty and special characteristics of her fine lineage, and we look forward to seeing her offspring.
TIGRA KIER
Tigra Kier born May 5, 2023
Beautiful Tigra is the first “home-made” foal at Kier Equestrian. She is after our mare Iasmine (Altivo x Malmequer) and the Grand Prix dressage stallion Vitorino CSM (Imperio Ex Ie-Ie x Ripado) from Ribatejo Lusitanos. She is as charming as she is sensitive and has a good foundation and movement pattern. Her lineage dates back to strong Veiga and Andrade bloodlines, and she will undoubtedly be formidable in both breeding and riding.
Tigra Kier is for sale.
TITANIA CDR
Titania CDR born April 29, 2023
Titania came to Kier Equestrian with her mother, Gaulesa, in the fall of 2023. She is after the stallion Boemio (R-Kazan Coussoul x Maravilha) from Ribatejo Lusitanos, which is awarded an impressive 76 points and trained to Grand Prix level in dressage. Boemio’s lineage consists of several APSL merit and recommended stallions and mares. Titania CDR has exceptionally good movements, and her lineage dates back to strong Alter Real bloodlines from her mother and Veiga bloodlines from her father. We have high expectations for Titania CDR both in breeding and riding.
