Melodia born March 18, 2016

Melodia came to Kier Equestrian when she was 5 years old, arranged directly from Portugal via Ribatejo Lusitanos. She was awarded in 2022 with 73 points and measures 161 cm at withers. Her paternal grandfather Riopele is decorated with 5* merit as a breeding stallion and 4* as a recommended breeding stallion for performance. Riopele's father Hostil is also decorated with 5* breeding merit. In the 5th generation is the legendary Veiga stallion Novilheiro, who competed in both Grand Prix dressage and S-level jumping.

Melodia is developing excellently with us in both dressage and jumping. She has also proven to be an excellent broodmare and has so far enriched Kier Equestrian with three beautiful foals, two of which (Vega Kier & Xenon Kier) remain with us here at the farm. We are very excited to see how both of them develop.
